At Rising From Shadows Foundation, we believe every survivor of childhood abuse and neglect deserves hope, healing, and a real chance to rebuild. Our mission is to empower survivors through confidential resources, trauma‑informed mentoring, advocacy, life‑changing referrals, and access to safe, stable environments where healing can begin.

To take our first critical steps forward, we are seeking 25+ acres of land—through donation or purchase—as well as financial contributions to build our juvenile residential facility, Better Futures Ranch. This trauma‑informed residential campus will provide a safe haven where children and teens can experience safety, therapy, education, life‑skills training, and a supportive community rooted in dignity and respect.

A residential facility is more than a location—it is a sanctuary. It is a place where mentoring and support groups can meet in privacy, where advocacy efforts can be coordinated, and where hope can take root and grow. With your support, we will also advance our advocacy initiatives: working with lawmakers, raising public awareness, and helping to change the laws and systems that impact survivors every day.
